#IZOTOPE TRASH 2 VINYL SERIAL NUMBER#
You'll need a serial number for Vinyl even if it's discontinued. Honestly, you're better off forgetting trying to emulate this since it generally won't sound good anyway.
There is a cyclic effect, the period of the cycle changing as the needle moves toward the center of the record. As the record has hills and valleys, the needle applies different pressure amounts, digging into the groove or barely touching it.
You can accomplish most of this with samples of said artifacts.Įmulating warping will be difficult due to the nature of what warping does. You'll need something else for the mechanical noise, dust/scratches, and warping. This affects the dynamics and EQ for the most part. Trash 2 has a preset called "Vinyl Warming", comprised of "Little Popper" saturation and a "Vinyl" convolution IR. You can't recreate all of the options in Trash 2 alone.
